In 1965, Eduardo Gallardo Gomez, a visionary dental technician and longtime president of the Costa Rican Dental Technicians Association, established a pioneering dental laboratory in Costa Rica. Known for his unmatched skill and dedication, Eduardo built the lab as a center of excellence, focusing on precision and innovation. His passion for the craft and commitment to mentoring future dental technicians laid the foundation for a lasting legacy in dental care.
Eduardo’s legacy gained new momentum in 1994 when his son, Francisco Gallardo, brought advanced expertise back to Costa Rica after spending eight years in the United States. While at the University of Maryland and as the implant department supervisor at Suburban Dental Lab, Maryland’s largest dental laboratory, Francisco mastered modern dental technologies and techniques. Inspired by his father’s vision, Francisco returned to Costa Rica with the goal of merging Eduardo’s tradition of excellence with cutting-edge innovation.
Building on the foundation set by his father, Francisco re-established Costa Rica Dental Clinic & Lab in the early 1990s, transforming it into a fully integrated facility combining a state-of-the-art dental clinic with the renowned laboratory. Eduardo was the president for 10 years of the Costa Rican Dental Technicians Association.

Eduardo’s legacy continued through his sons, one of whom, Francisco Gallardo, pursued further education and experience abroad.
Francisco’s quest for advanced knowledge led him to the University of Michigan, where he immersed himself in the latest dental techniques and technologies.
Spent 8 years in the United States, gaining experience in dental laboratories, he was the implant department supervisor of Suburban dental lab, the largest dental laboratory in Maryland.
Upon returning to Costa Rica, Francisco saw an opportunity to honor his father’s legacy while bringing new innovations to the clinic.
In the early 1990s, he re-established Costa Rica Dental Clinic Lab, integrating a state-of-the-art dental clinic with the existing laboratory. This expansion allowed the clinic to offer comprehensive dental care alongside advanced laboratory services.
